WolfEgy Resume Builder is designed around a browser-local workflow. You can build, edit, review, save versions, and export your resume without creating an account.

This Privacy Policy explains how WolfEgy handles information when you use our resume builder, templates, cover letter tools, resume guidance pages, feedback forms, and related public pages.
Our core privacy principle is simple: the resume content you create in the builder is stored locally in your browser unless you choose to export, copy, clear, or submit information yourself.
What data stays in your browser
When you use the resume builder, the following information may be saved locally in your browser using localStorage:
- resume content you enter
- personal details you add to your resume
- work experience, education, skills, certifications, projects, custom sections, and cover letter content
- selected template and theme color
- saved resume versions in Resume Library
- job description text you may paste for local review features
This information is not sent to a WolfEgy server by the builder.
What we may receive
We may receive information only when you choose to send it to us, such as when you:
- submit a feedback form
- contact us through an external form or social media
- click links to third-party platforms
- interact with public pages that load external assets
Feedback forms may be handled through third-party services such as Google Forms. Do not include sensitive resume content in feedback unless you intentionally want to share it with us.
External services
Some public marketing pages may load external resources such as fonts, images, social media links, or feedback forms. These services may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, referrer, and interaction data according to their own policies.
WolfEgy may use Cloudflare Web Analytics / Browser Insights for traffic and performance measurement. This is intended to measure aggregate site usage and performance; resume content entered in the builder is not intentionally sent to analytics.
The editor page is designed to avoid external font loading and keep the resume-building surface local-first.
How we use information you choose to send
If you voluntarily send us feedback or contact information, we may use it to respond to your message, improve WolfEgy Resume Builder, understand bugs, feature requests, and user needs, and communicate about WolfEgy products if you ask us to do so.
We do not sell your personal data.

Where GDPR applies, we process voluntarily submitted contact or feedback data based on one or more of the following legal bases:

Feedback or contact submissions may be retained for as long as needed to respond, improve the service, maintain records, or comply with legal obligations.
